This service is a little less formal, a little less traditional than our 11:00 am service. The round communion table is the center of our focus. Here we have our children’s moment and morning message. Here we have an open sharing of our ‘Joys and Concerns.’ We sing as we come to the table to take communion by dipping the bread in the cup. We form a circle around the table to hear the final blessing and Alleluia. Music is played on our beautiful grand piano. Our choir, The Joyful Noise, experiments with hand bells, Gospel, classic, you name it! We also feature our own bank from time to time called Faith Harmony.
We have three different services at First Christian Church…We encourage you to experience each of them as we seek communion with one another and with God.
