Youth Ministry
“Meeting today’s youth where they are.”
Portland First Christian’s youth program exists to engage young people in a meaningful relationship with their Creator. Planting seeds and using every appropriate method to excite, inspire, capture and grow young souls into Disciples of Christ.
Our youth group is comprised of middle school (Chi-Rho) and high school (CYF) students. We meet every Sunday for Sunday school at 11 am, and we also have youth group on Wednesday nights at the church. Keep an eye on the church calendar for upcoming events, dates, and time changes.
While we greatly enjoy playing crazy games, eating awesome food, staying up all night, singing songs, making friends, and taking amazing road trips. We also take time to find rest, to embrace Jesus and His ministry, to reflect, and to grow. We make time to help others, and reach out to our community. We take time to listen for God, and to learn what faith looks like today in Portland, today in school, today in friendships, today as a teenage person, and today in the world.
