First Christian is extremely excited to be settling into our new space! Here are the location of rooms and offices. When you arrive at church, please follow signs/arrows to the location you desire.
1st Floor
Church Offices, Workroom, and Office Archives; Adult Classroom (Temporarily used for the Nursery); Restrooms
Youth Room, Youth Office, and Work Area (Half of the Youth Room will temporarily be used for the Children’s Ministry and the Youth combined); Space around the Stairs (Mid-Disciples will meet here); Two Music Practice Rooms (One is temporarily used for Ruth’s Closet); Music Work Room; Music Room; and Music and Robe Storage
2nd Floor
Space around the Stairs (Coffee Cart and Meeting Area); Library, Church Archives (LOGOS will meet in Library); Restrooms; Kitchen
Fellowship Hall (Faithseekers will continue to meet at the Church of Christ Science until further notice. The new Fellowship Hall will be used as a temporary Sanctuary space).
Church Move (February 16-February 27, 2009)

The week of February 16, 2009 the congregation started moving into the new church space. This is a very exciting time for the church and the community. These first couple of weeks we will settle in to the new space.
Below is information on access to the new building and all the details regarding the move.
Parking:
Beginning 2/16, the new underground parking will be available with an elevator to the church levels. Entry is on Jefferson. Sunday morning this is where to park. On days other than Sunday morning, there will be a gate to the underground parking that will distribute. Tickets will be validated for church-related activities. Sunday 2/22 will be the last Sunday we can park in the lot on Columbia where we have been parking on Sundays.
On Foot:
The best route is going to be from Columbia Street between Ladd Carriage House and the church building into the new courtyard. The Ladd Carriage House will be on the right, the corner of the new building will be ahead on the left with doors that open on each side into this new connecting building. The new elevator is located here as well as a new stairway.
For Sunday Mornings
To attend church on Sundays, there will be greeters to direct people to the Temporary Sanctuary in the New Fellowship Hall on the second floor. Come in as above either from the parking or on foot. The rooms for the children, youth and nursery are on the first floor. Rest rooms are found on both floors.
Church Office
The office move starts the week of February 23, 2009. The church office currently does not have email access and will not have phone access for the first part of the week. We apologize for any inconvenience.
