The World Outreach Team invites you to celebrate our first year as a Global Mission Church with “A Night in India.”
The evening features a program by our own Dr. John McComb, reporting on his 2011 mission trip providing dental care in southern India. The evening also includes an authentic Indian dinner.
This is a family event, with an Indian theme activity for the younger children. Bring the entire family.
Walk the Labyrinth & Taize Service – Sunday, January 15 @ 6:00 pm & 7:00 pm

You are invited to join our monthly Labyrinth Walk and Taize service on January 15, 2012. The Labyrinth is open at 6:00 pm and the Taize service begins at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcome.

Visioning Event – Save the Date – Wednesday, January 25, 2012 @ 6:00 pm

On Wednesday, January 25th at 6 pm, we will be holding a Vision Event. This event will focus on discussing the results found from the survey that was taken over then last few months. The Vision Committee will be asking new questions. Over dinner, we will use God’s guidance and the wisdom He has blessed us with to refine a mission statement. Everybody is invited to this event, whether or not you completed a survey, we still want to see your bright, shining faces there! New Year’s Day Service – January 1, 2012 @ 9:00 am & 11:00 am

We will have both our 9:00 am and 11:00 am worship services on New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1, 2012. Our guest speaker is Dr. Wayne F. Bryant at both services. During the 10 o’clock hour we will have a special Prayer Event, “Prayer for the New Year.” It will be an opportunity to take some time to pray. This event will be held in the Brides Room.

During the 10 o’clock hour we will have a special Prayer Event, “Prayers for the New Year” in the Parlor/Brides Room .
Please turn in all prayer requests which are to be included on the “Prayers for the New Year” prayer vigil list. To submit requests, you may use the cards that are available in the pews and/or Prayer Force forms on the table in the Narthex. The submission deadline for prayer requests is noon on Thursday, December 29.
On New Year’s Sunday, January 1, 2012, the Parlor/Brides Room will be open from 9:45 am until 11:15 am so you may come and go at your convenience to pray during that time. If you are unable to attend, but would like the prayer list, please contact the office at 503-228-9211.
