The book Group meets on Wednesday, June 29 at 7:00 pm at the home of Jerry & Ann Hudson. The Book for June is “South of Broad” by Pat Conroy. There is no read ahead book for July. We will be having a BBQ @ the Clendenin’s. Date TBD.

Recent Geologic studies have revealed a pattern of earthquakes of equal magnitude as the March earthquake that struck Japan along our coastline. We need to be prepared because it is not a matter of if, but when we are going to have the next one.This Forum is on Sunday, July 3 at 10:00 am in the Multimedia Room and is led by Chris Bailey. Healing Prayer Forum – Saturday, June 25 @ 9:00 am

Dr. Terry Fitzgerald will be the moderator for “Healing and Prayer: Power or Placebo?” on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 9:00 am in the Multimedia Room.
This documentary is part of an A&E series called “Investigative Reports.” The film discusses results of a scientific study as to whether or not prayer helps in the healing process in ways other than comforting the patient.
Everyone is invited to attend this workshop sponsored by the Prayer Force. A continental breakfast will be served. Please contact the church office to indicate if you would like to attend this event or if you have any questions at 503-228-9211.
