Summer Forums: Rev. Fredrick Woods on Sunday, July 12

The Summer Forum speaker for Sunday, July 12 is the Rev Fredrick Woods. Rev Woods is founder and spiritual leader of Calvary Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and chief organizer of the Mallory Avenue Community Enrichment (MACE) Center. Rev. Woods is the recipient of the 2008 Spirit of Portland Award in the category of independent humanitarian. In February, 2009 the Trailblazers basketball team made him it’s Black History Month Honoree.
Summer Forums begin at 10:00 am in the Multipurpose Room. On Sunday, July 19, Heather Schlessman will explore the basics of prayer and meditation. Bring your joys and concerns and experience a led group meditation.
